Picking up from where we left off, a movie-like manhunt led us to the doorstep of a seemingly unlikely suspect, Daniel Wozniak. A well-loved figure in the Orange County Community Theater, Dan’s life took a dark turn as he was shockingly implicated in the murders of his friend, Sam and Julie. Our listeners might be as astounded as we were to discover that his arrest took place not on stage, but in the middle of his own bachelor party, mere days before he was set to wed his fiancée, Rachel Buffett.

In this episode, we dive deep into the haunting case of Julie Kibuishi, a vibrant young woman whose life was tragically cut short in Costa Mesa, California. The theater component of this case was a familiar element for me, Amethyst, given my theater background. As we pieced together the narrative, we aimed to shed light on the complexities surrounding Julie's murder and to honor her story with the depth it deserves.
